Tree Planting Advice

We need more healthy and attractive trees in our towns and cities. Much of the tree planting in the last 50 years has failed to give us the quality urban tree cover we need and deserve. Particularly in urban areas, where trees are planted, what species of trees are planted, and how they are planted (and maintained) needs to be informed by arboricultural knowledge.

We understand the physiological and spatial needs of trees (above and below ground), species characteristics, and their future management needs; linking this knowledge with urban design facilitates the successful planting of large-maturing trees - those trees which give the maximum returns in visual amenity and in environmental benefits.
